Drugs worth nearly £1 million found during police raids in Dundee and Monifieth
Two men have been arrested and charged and are set to appear in court today
Drugs worth around £945,000 have been found during police raids in Monifieth and Dundee.
Police stopped a van on Mackintosh Patrick Drive in Monifieth yesterday and uncovered quantities of diazepam and cocaine as well as a three-figure sum of money.
A car on Lorimer Street in Dundee was also searched and a five figure sum of cash recovered.
Two men have been arrested and charged and are set to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector Julia Ogilvie from the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit in Dundee said: “This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“We are committed to disrupting the illegal and harmful supply of drugs in our communities.
