Man charged after drugs worth over £200,000 found at Dundee property

A 28-year-old man is due in court after the six-figure sum of cannabis was recovered

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged for drug offences following the recovery of a six-figure sum of drugs in Dundee.

Officers made the discovery during a raid at a property in Arbroath Road, Dundee on Friday June 10th.

A quantity of cannabis, with an estimated value of around £212,000, was recovered.

The man was arrested and charged in connection and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court at a later date.

Inspector Cameron said:

“This recovery shows our commitment to disrupting drug activity locally.

“Information from the public is crucial and I would urge anyone with any information or concerns about drugs within the community to contact police on 101. Alternatively, information can be passed to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.”
