Cyclist Dies After Fife Smash

A cyclist, involved in a Fife road smash at the weekend , has died. David Christie had been in Kirkcaldy's Victoria Hospital since the incident on the A92 at Freuchie on Saturday. But police have confirmed the 49 year old has since succumbed to his injuries. His family's released a statement paying tribute: "David was a much loved son and father. "He will be hugely missed by family and friends. "David's family want to thank the staff in the Intensive Care Unit for being so kind and caring while looking after him. "The family is finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with this tragic loss".
