Cyclist taken to Ninewells hospital after road accident in Fife

The collision happened on the A913 on Thursday morning near Cupar.

A male cyclist has been taken to hospital after he was involved in a road accident in Fife.

The collision between a van and the bike happened on Thursday morning on the A913 Cupar to Newburgh Road.

Police were called at around 6.43am and the cyclist has been taken to Ninewells in Dundee.

There are currently no further details on his injuries.

The road has been closed at the Parbroath crossroads, Moonzie Junction and Lady Burn at Balgarvie Road.

Officers are asking drivers to avoid the area.
