Covid inquiry to hear from people in Paisley
Former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon gave evidence earlier this week.
The UK Covid-19 inquiry is going to hear from members of the public in Paisley about their experiences of the pandemic over the next two days.
Drop-in sessions will be running inside the town hall today and tomorrow where people can share and submit their story.
Ben Connah is the Secretary to the UK Covid-19 Inquiry and is heading up the "Every Story Matters" event.
He said: "We know that covid affected people differently throughout the country and people had different experiences of the virus across varying towns and villages.
"That is why we are trying to build a full picture of the impact the pandemic had on people throughout the UK."
Earlier on in the week, the inquiry heard from a number of high profile Scottish politicians including former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and former health secretary Jeane Freeman.
The inquiry will hear from people all over the UK and there will be counsellors on site and there will be follow-up support if it's necessary.
Ben added: "I hope the Scottish public has seeing an inquiry that is taking the impact the pandemic had on people up and down the land seriously."
