Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing Fife teenager.

Jordan Hutton was last seen in Ladybank Railway station at 5.20pm on Saturday 18 June where it's believed he boarded a train to Kirkcaldy.

The 16-year-old has failed to return home and concern is now growing for his welfare.

He's described as white, 5ft 6in tall with a stocky build, acne and short blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit, jogging bottoms, and black and red coloured Nike training shoes.

Sergeant Brian Millar based at St Andrews police station said: "We are eager to trace Jordan as soon as possible to ensure he is safe and anyone who knows his current whereabouts should contact police immediately.

"I also urge Jordan to get in touch if you see this appeal so that we know you are okay."

Anyone with information on Jordan's whereabouts are being urged to contact Police on 101 or speak to any officer.
