Climber injured in 30-metre rock fall near Dunkeld

He was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment

A climber has been taken to hospital after falling around 30 metres down a rock face.

Firefighters went to the scene near Dunkeld in Perthshire after the alarm was raised at 12.25pm on Thursday.

The rope rescue team brought the man to safety and he was passed into the care of ambulance crew.

He was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.
