Brechin City have sacked Mark Wilson as manager of the League Two side.

Under his charge they've not won a single game in league or cup competitions this season.

The club has released this statement : " Brechin City announce that Manager Mark Wilson and Assistant Manager Simon Donnelly have been released from their contracts and have left the Club with immediate effect.

The Club would like to thank Mark and Simon for their service and will now commence the search for a new Management Team."

Wilson becomes the season's 1st SPFL managerial casualty.
