Police in Fife have today released CCTV of a 40-year-old man who was reported missing from the East Neuk earlier this week. The images show Ian Marr at a BP petrol station on Main Street in Colinsburgh at around 11am on Wednesday, September 28th, shortly after he left an address in Peter Howling Place in Anstruther. Ian is travelling in a distinct silver coloured Subaru Impreza car with the registration SG60 JVE and is described as around 6ft tall, has a heavy build, with short cropped brown hair, brown eyes and talks with a soft west coast accent. His vehicle was last seen travelling on the westbound carriageway on the M80 in North Lanarkshire at around 12:15pm on Wednesday. Ian has a number of links across the UK and it is not clear at this time where he is heading. Inspector Nicola Black of Cupar police station said: "As part of our ongoing search effort to find Ian we have successfully secured CCTV images that were taken not long after he left Anstruther. "He has then travelled to North Lanarkshire however we don't know where he has gone after this point. "We've significant concern for Ian's welfare and are extremely keen to hear from anyone who has seen him. Particular other motorists who may have spoken to him in the petrol station. Even a small piece of information may hold a vital clue as to his whereabouts. "We know that he has a number of links across the country including in the Braemar area and parts of England, and he may be travelling to one of these locations." If you have seen Ian or have information on his whereabouts please contact Police Scotland on 101 or speak to any officer.
