Bus station staff racially abused

A member of bus station staff in Arbroath’s been subjected to racist abuse by a passenger.

Police Scotland is appealling for information about an incident which occurred within Arbroath Bus Station around 7:30pm last night (Wednesday 14th June).

A member of staff at the station was subjected to racist verbal abuse and threatening behaviour by a man who got on a number 73 bus to Carnoustie immediately afterwards.

The person responsible is described as in his early 20s, about 5ft 8ins tall with short light brown hair and wearing a white jacket. He appeared to be under the influence of drink or drugs at the time.
