The wee pink van, used for the art project Art For All, has been vandalised for a third time.

Inappropriate graffiti was yet again sprayed on the caravan which was parked outside owner Andrea Dougas' Broughty Ferry home, over the weekend.

Andrea says the continuous vandalism is having a huge impact, saying: "I have an eleven-year-old child who is now scared, feeling that we're being targeted and she doesn't feel safe.

"I'm having to clean and re-spray-paint the caravan every time which is obviously very costly, time consuming and is affecting the groups that I'm able to access every time this happens."

She continued: "It's very frustrating. It's almost becoming personal. At the beginning I didn't think it was personal, I just thought it was someone being silly, seeing a pink caravan and not liking it.

"But it's now becoming really quiet personal. My direct neighbours have no issue with the caravan at all. I know that some of the residents in the street are unhappy about it. I totally appreciate, I understand that and I respect that.

"I am just renovating it just now. It's taking me longer because I'm having to keep dealing with the graffiti on it, the vandalism."

But, the former art and design teacher is determined to continue with her passion project despite facing setbacks. She said: "I'm a very resilient character. I'm determined to make Art For All a success. Art For All is not going to stop just because of these silly people that are graffitiing this.

"So Art For All will continue, but, it's just making it a more time consuming process and it's just more challenges for me to overcome."

The art project aims to bring art to people of all ages and abilities in the local community with the caravan to used for a variety of purposes including bringing art workshops to those who are immobile.

Andrea had this message for those carrying out the acts of vandalism: "What are you getting out from doing this? What is the reason? What benefit are you getting other than coming and doing something silly at night?

"If you have an issue with the caravan come and speak to me directly. That's a cowardly way of objecting to the caravan by grafting it and not leaving your name. Contact me directly."
