Broughty Ferry Store Targeted In Armed Robbery

A man threatened a member of staff at the Nisa store on Gray Street with a knife on Saturday night.

The hunt's on after an armed robbery in Broughty Ferry.

A thief targeted the Nisa store on Gray Street at around 9-30 on Saturday night.

He threatened a member of staff with a knife - before making off with cash, cigarettes and alcohol.

The shop assistant was not injured during the incident.

The male responsible is described as being 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a light coloured coat, dark coloured gloves and was a carrying a large dark coloured holdall.

Officers have been carrying out door to door inquiries.
