Broughty Ferry road closed after lorry strikes rail bridge

Emergency services have been called to Broughty Ferry after a lorry struck a rail bridge.

It happened on St Vincent Street at around 12:05pm.

The road has been closed to allow for recovery.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.05pm on Monday, 3 February, 2025, we received a report that a lorry struck a rail bridge at St Vincent Street, Broughty Ferry.

“The road is closed to allow for recovery."
