Bomb Disposal Experts Called To Perthshire Lodges
Army bomb disposal experts were called to the Pine Lodges near Pitlochry after the discovery of a suspicious package
Army bomb disposal experts have been assessing a suspicious package found at a holiday complex.
Police discovered the object while attending a routine incident at Logierait Pine Lodges near Pitlochry at around 5pm yesterday.
A cordon was put in place around the area and nearby residents were evacuated.
The army bomb disposal team arrived at the scene at the complex of holiday lodges in Perthshire at around 9.15pm.
They were assessing the package and taking appropriate action, police said.
One person was taken to hospital.
Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the matter and there was no danger to the public.
