Bin the Syringe: Tay News speaks to the Lochee residents fighting to rid the area of discarded needles

Hundreds were discovered throughout the area in a six month period.

Grasslands, play parks, gardens are becoming off limits in Lochee, with people terrified they will come into contact with dirty needles.

It is after 683 were found across the area from April to September last year, including in people's closes.

Tay News is launching its Bin the Syringe campaign today, to raise awareness about what is happening in Lochee.

We have spoken to locals living there, some who say they have reached their tolerance limit.
