A young badger found itself behind bars at the council buildings in Forfar yesterday.
A young badger found itself behind bars at the council buildings in Forfar yesterday.
It was spotted by Councilor Glennis Middleton and was helped by the SSPCA and council janitor.
A council spokesman said: “It’s not known whether seeking refuge led it to being found in a fankle, or if simple curiosity led to its inadvertent incarceration.
“None the worse for its experience, the badger was quickly freed and taken safely away from The Cross by SSPCA staff.”
