A baby Jesus doll stolen from a nativity display has been found by police.
The life-sized doll was taken from outside St John's Kirk in St John's Place, Perth, at about 11.30pm on Monday.
Police Scotland appealed for information and said three young boys were seen acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
On Tuesday night, a force spokesman said the nativity model had been found undamaged and will be returned to the display in "due course''.
Three boys are to be the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal, the spokesman added.
The theft was the second of its kind to happen in the last two years.
