Auchterarder Christmas Tree Festival Underway

Now - as many of us continue to put up our Christmas decorations, Auchterarder’s getting into the festive spirit as its Christmas Tree Festival gets underway.
It’ll run for just over two weeks in the Perthshire town and organisers hope it’ll bring visitors to the area.
John Boyd helps co-ordinate it and talks us through the history…
John said: “We are delighted at the big increase in the number of trees for our second year of the festival.
“The main aim of the event is to promote local businesses and groups, and encourage more people into Auchterarder in the build up to the festive season.”
