Armed robber targets Dundee newsagents
The masked man removed the till from Graham Street News on Thursday evening.
An armed robber threatened staff at a Dundee newsagent with a weapon before making off with a till. It happened at the Graham Street News store at around 6.10pm on Thursday, January 5. Two women were working in the shop at the time, but they were not injured during the incident.
The man, who was wearing a mask and a grey jacket, walked off into Barnes Avenue before getting into a dark coloured vehicle. It drove off towards Old Glamis Road. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Anyone who may have seen the male in the area around the time of the crime or who may have seen him enter a motor vehicle in Barnes Avenue shortly after the crime occurred is urged to contact police. "The man is described as being 5 foot 10 inches tall,of slim build, wearing a mask, grey jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, gloves and black shoes.”
