Police are appealing for information after a 57-year-old man was robbed of cash in St Ann’s Lane, Perth on Friday, 19 August, 2022.

Between 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm on the Friday afternoon, the man was pushed to the ground by another man in the lane, which is near to South Street, and had a three-figure sum of money was stolen from him. He was not injured during the attack but has been left shaken.

The suspect is described as white, aged in his 40’s, with blond/brown hair and was wearing a grey top and blue jeans.

Detective Constable Liv McIntyre, Police Scotland, said: “The robbery was reported to police on Tuesday this week and since then officers have been checking CCTV as well as making local enquiries. The area was busy at the time and I am sure someone will have seen the robbery take place.
