There's an appeal for information after a house was broken into in Braco.

It happened yesterday morning (24 November) on Feddal Road between 3.15am and 3.30am.

Officers said a man broke into the property and stole the keys to a white Volkswagen Golf R with the registration plate: E1 RGG.

It’s believed another person was waiting outside and they both drove off in the vehicle in the direction of Front Street.

One of the suspects is described as around 5ft 10in tall, of slim build and was wearing a dark hooded top and light grey trousers.

Detective Constable Jennifer Doe of Perth CID, said:

“The householders have been left incredibly shaken by this incident and I would urge anyone who saw what happened or anyone with information to come forward.

“Enquiries are ongoing into the movements of the car after it left the area. It’s very distinctive and I would ask the public to keep an eye out for it. The registration may have changed but aesthetically it will be recognisable with 19 inch alloys and an akrapovic exhaust.

“To anyone who has private CCTV or dash cam footage of the Braco and wider Dunblane areas around 3.30am on Thursday, I would ask you review this please and bring anything of significance to the attention of police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 0298 of 24 November, 2022 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
