Defibrillator vanishes from Broughty Ferry church
Police have launched an appeal
Police are appealing for information after a defibrillator went missing outside a church in Broughty Ferry.
It's believed the life-saving equipment vanished from outside St Margaret’s Church on Guthrie Terrace some time between April 3 and May 1.
Officers investigating are not sure if it was used for an emergency or stolen.
A Police Scotland spokesperson has said: "Longhaugh Community Policing Team are seeking any information relating to the possible theft of the defibrillator from St Margaret’s Church, Guthrie Terrace, Broughty Ferry.
"It is believed the defibrillator was removed between 03/04/23 and 01/05/23 from where it was situated on a post outside the church.
"If you are aware of it being removed for a genuine emergency or if you witnessed a theft, please get in touch using the email address below so we can try and locate it and return it".
