Angus charity creates Scotland's first autism-friendly rugby sessions for kids
Strathmore Rugby Club Community Trust are running touch-based games for primary pupils to touch more disabled youngsters into sport
A charity in Forfar is aiming to get more youngsters with additional needs involved in sport by running autism-friendly rugby sessions.
Strathmore Rugby Club Community Trust has created touched-based games for primary pupils in Angus.
It's hoped the sessions will improve their confidence and sporting skills. It was set up Josh Gabriel-Clarke.
"My eldest son Archie has autism and as a parent I've recognised the lack of activities that cater to needs of autistic children," he said.
"We're looking at them to try and develop social skills and confidence, as well as hoping to help reduce any anxiety they experience in daily life.
"Rugby is simply the vehicle for doing that."
The sessions are being run weekly at Forfar's Inchmacoble Park every Friday.
