Police in Angus are again warning about doorstep crime after a bogus workman claiming to be from the water board attended at an address in Clova Avenue, Arbroath at about 11.45am Tuesday morning.

Police in Angus are again warning about doorstep crime after a bogus workman claiming to be from the water board attended at an address in Clova Avenue, Arbroath at about 11.45am Tuesday morning. Whilst within the property he stole a two-figure sum of cash. He is described as being about 40-50-years-old, about five feet 6 inches tall, of medium build.

He was wearing a black-coloured tammy hat and black glasses. He was also wearing a dark-coloured jacket, grey trousers and was clean shaven. Anyone who has information that could assist officers with their enquiries into these incidents should contact Police Scotland on 101.
