Ange Postecoglou praises Celtic 'steel' after win over Rangers
The Parkhead side now sit six points clear at the top of the Premiership
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou says people have overlooked the 'real steel' in their side after coming from behind to beat Rangers 2-1 at Ibrox.
Potecoglou had promised to go all out for the win but Ramsey opened the scoring in the third minute when he knocked in a Ryan Kent cross after he had been put through by defender Calvin Bassey.
However, in the seventh minute after Gers keeper Allan McGregor had parried a 25-yard drive from Reo Hatate, fellow Parkhead midfielder Rogic fired in the equaliser.
Three minutes before the break Rangers failed to clear Jota's free-kick from wide on the left and when the ball fell to Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers he drilled a left-foot shot low into the net to put the visitors ahead.
Celtic manager Postecoglou told Sky Sports: "I was really proud of the players. It's a difficult place to come to and they got off to a great start. In those kind of conditions everything's in their favour, and it's going to take a massive effort for us to turn it around.
"The one thing people have overlooked is a real steel to this team. We had to show that, Rangers were at it and the crowd was behind them.
"It's three points and there's another three points next week. We'll just keep accumulating them until it means something."
Match-winner Cameron Carter-Vickers told Sky Sports: "It's a massive win for us. There's not many games left in the league so every three points is massively important.
"We just keep pushing and that's what we did. It was disappointing to concede in the first five minutes but after that I thought we played well.
"They were pushing balls forward and men forward and we had to defend as a unit and put our heads on things. But as a defender that's what you enjoy and you want to be doing, and I think we stood up to it well."
