Aberdeen pupils warned of making fire device from stolen items
It's understood students at Oldmachar Academy created it from stolen lighters and gas refill canisters from a nearby Asda
There's a warning for pupils at an Aberdeen high school who are reportedly making flamethrowers from stolen lighters and gas refill canisters.
The headteacher at Oldmachar Academy sent out a message to parents - after the nearby Asda reported stolen goods.
It urges parents to advise their kids of the potential consequences of their actions.
An Aberdeen city council spokesperson said: We understand that Asda made the school aware of the stolen lighters and re-fillers.
“As the safety of our young people is of paramount importance, the head teacher sent out a message to parents advising them to highlight to their children the potential consequences of their actions.”
