A flyover on the A90 in Perthshire will be closed for the foreseeable future after a lorry carrying a digger crashed into it.

The vehicle collided with the bridge at St Madoes on the afternoon of Thursday 31st October.

The eastbound section of the A90 will be closed between until 3pm on Friday so engineers can expect the flyover.

The collision also damaged a water pipe which resulted in the supply being lost to some homes in the PH2 postcode.

However, Tayside Police have confirmed this has now been resolved.
