The A90 is closed in both direction at St Madoes, after a digger reportedly came off the back of a lorry.

Drivers travelling between Dundee and Perth are experiencing delays as a result of the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Tay News:

"Around 12.35pm on Tuesday 28th March we were called to a report of a one vehicle crash on the A90 at Friarton Bridge, Perth.

"The road is currently closed and diversions are in place.

There are no reports of any injuries."
