Emergency services respond to A9 crash

The southbound carriageway remains closed

Emergency services are at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on the A9 near Calvine

Police were called to the incident, involving a Ford campervan and Skoda car, at around 2pm.

Traffic Scotland reported the road was closed in both directions at 2:30pm, but say the northbound carriageway has now re-opened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2pm on Friday, 20 September, 2024 we were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A9 near Calvine.

"Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed."

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service say three appliances and a specialist unit were dispatched to the scene.
