Police appeal after 80-year-old woman hit by car in Broughty Ferry

The pensioner was hospitalised after she was hit by a Nissan Navara

Road Policing Officers are appealing for information after an 80-year-old woman was hit by a Nissan Navara in Broughty Ferry last Monday, (22nd January 2024).

The pensioner was taken to Ninewells Hospital following the incident on Brook Street at Gray Street at around 12:15pm.

Her condition is described by staff as stable.

Enquires into the incident are ongoing.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

Constable Mike Guild said: “As our enquiries continue, I’d appeal to any witnesses to this crash, or anyone with information that may assist to contact us.

“If you were driving in the area at the time and have any dash-cam footage that may be relevant, please get in touch.”
