72-year-old woman robbed in Dundee
Police are appealing for information about the incident in the Hilltown area
Police in Dundee are appealing for information following the robbery of a 72-year-old woman in the Hilltown area of the city.
The incident occurred at around 12:25 on Saturday 12th February 2022 on Hilltown near the SPAR.
The woman was approached by two people, a man and a woman, who forcefully stole her bag and ran off.
The victim did not sustain any injuries.
The male suspect is described as wearing an Under Armour baseball cap.
Detective Constable Steve Smith, of Dundee CID, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim. Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with any information to contact us.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which may assist us to get in touch.”
