Dundee have signed midfielder Jamie Ness on a 2 year contract with an option for a 3rd.

He returns North of The Border after 7 seasons down South following his departure from Rangers - for whom he made 18 appearances.

Whilst in England, Ness played with Stoke City, Leyton Orient, Crewe, Scunthorpe and was then a regular at Plymouth for 2 seasons.

The 27 year old is manager James McPake’s 5th Summer signing, after Declan McDaid, Jordan McGhee, Jordan Marshall and Shaun Byrne.

He'll link up with his new team mates prior to jetting out to Spain for the Dark Blues' pre season training camp.
