WATCH: EasyJet reveal their secret cabin code
Have you seen them do this?
Last updated 11th May 2017
Everyone knows what 'girl code' is, but did you know EasyJet have a secret cabin code? It's like charades at 20,000ft!
After being publicly asked about the code on Twitter, the low cost airline have revealed exactly what their code is through a video uploaded to YouTube yesterday.
According to the video use of the code is to "minimise unnecessary chatter". It's used for everything from items on the menu to talk about something that might have happened on the plane.
For example a couple order a chicken caesar baguette and a croque monsieur, relayed by the flight attendant through actions of flapping arms and making a mouth shape with their hand.
They also have hand signals for other things they might want to relay such as a stag do, someone famous that you don't recognise and there's been a proposal - get the champagne.

Speaking about the secret code Tina Milton, Head of Cabin Services said, "We pride ourselves on providing an excellent inflight food service over the past 21 years, and our ‘secret code’ helps us to ensure customer satisfaction in a timely manner."
Now next time you go on an EasyJet flight if you see them doing some actions you'll know how to decipher them!
