Strictly Come Dancing is set to celebrate 60 years of children's television show Blue Peter with a special dance competition for Children In Need.

Anthea Turner, Tim Vincent, Konnie Huq and more former Blue Peter presenters will try and impress judges Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell to take home the infamous mirrorball trophy.

The full line-up was revealed on the official Twitter account for Strictly Come Dancing. The tweet played on the famous Blue Peter line "Here's one we made earlier". The tweet read, 'Here's something we made earlier... 😉 presenting the line-up for our Blue Peter @BBCCiN #Strictly special!'

The full line-up is as follows:

Konnie Huq will be paired with professional partner Neil Jones.

Diane-Louise Jordan will be paired with professional partner Pasha Kovalev.

Tim Vincent will be paired with professional partner Dianne Buswell.

Mark Curry will be paired with professional partner Amy Dowden.

Radzi Chinyanganya will be paired with professional partner Chloe Hewitt.

Anthea Turner will be paired with professional partner Brendan Cole. Anthea tweeted that she had her first lesson yesterday.

Blue Peter first aired on the 16th October 1958 and will celebrate its 60th year in 2018. This is surely just the first of many anniversary celebrations for the children's TV show.

Tim Vincent, pictured left, will take part in the series.

Children in Need will air on the 17th November 2017 on BBC One and BBC Two.

Tim Vincent, Mark Curry, Konnie Huq are pictured with other former presenters at a Blue Peter reunion.

Meanwhile the competition carries on for the current series of Strictly Come Dancing. So far these celebrities have been voted off the show:

Week one: Nobody left

Weel two: Chizzy Akudolu lost the dance-off with Brian Conley and she was the first to leave the show.

Week three: Reverend Richard Coles and chef Simon Rimmer battled it out. The Rev was the second to leave.

Week four: Charlotte Hawkins was against Davood Ghadami in the dance off but it was agreed unanimously by the judges that we'd be saying goodbye to Charlotte.

Week five: Brian Conley and Simon Rimmer spent a second week in the dance-off but it was comedian Brian who left the show.
