Best moments from 'Snatch Game' in Ru Paul's Drag Race 📺
These queens made show HERstory!
Last updated 18th Feb 2021
Snatch Game is arguably the most anticipated episode of the Ru Paul’s Drag Race season.
Remaining queens perform as iconic characters and are tested on their celebrity impersonations and ability to improvise whilst trying to impress Ru Paul and celebrity guest judges.
Snatch Game is back TONIGHT (Thursday 18th February) as the series two Drag Race UK queens take on their celebrity impressions with guest Gemma Collins judging their efforts.
Here are some of our favourite Snatch Game moments:
Baga Chipz as Margaret Thatcher (Ru Paul's Drag Race UK – Series 1)
In the first series of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, Baga Chipz did an incredible impression of former UK PM Margaret Thatcher. The ‘Iron Lady’ was a popular choice though, as both Baga and Divina de Campo wanted to impersonate her. Divina went on to perform as US celebrity chef Julia Child.
Kennedy Davenport as Little Richard (Ru Paul’s Drag Race – Season 7)
It took until season seven of Ru Paul’s Drag Race for a queen to attempt to perform as a male character in Snatch Game. Kennedy Davenport took the plunge and performed as Rock n’ Roll legend Little Richard and was a huge success!
Bianca Del Rio as Judge Judy (Ru Paul’s Drag Race – Season 6)
Ru Paul has shared many times how much she loves and respects her friend television’s Judge Judy. Bianca Del Rio was brave enough to take on the character and proved to be a huge hit with Ru! Bianca Del Rio went on to be crowned winner of Ru Paul’s Drag Race in 2014.
Alexis Michelle as Liza Minelli (Ru Paul’s Drag Race – Season 9)
Season nine of Drag Race was the first time a queen had attempted to perform as the brilliant actress, dancer and singer Liza Minelli. Alexis Michelle did an amazing job of the impression and even did her iconic jazz hands!
Chad Michaels as Cher (Ru Paul’s Drag Race – Season 4)
It was hard to ‘Believe’ that the real Cher was not actually in the studio as Chad Michaels executed the impression brilliantly and went on to win the game! Chad Michaels prides herself on being the best Cher impersonator out there and it is clear to see why.
Pandora Boxx as Carol Channing (Ru Paul’s Drag Race – Season 2)
Pandora Boxx’s portrayal of Broadway star Carol Channing was chaotically brilliant. This was the first ever Snatch Game, and although she was beaten by Tatiana’s performance as Britney Spears, it’s this version of Carol Channing that stands out in Snatch Game herstory.
The Vivienne as Donald Trump (Ru Paul's Drag Race UK – Series 1)
Described by judge Michelle Visage as “maybe the best Snatch Game character in the history of the show”, The Vivienne’s portrayal of former President Donald Trump was uncanny. The Vivienne played off fellow contestants (including Baga Chipz as Margaret Thatcher) and stormed to the Snatch Game win.
