The FINAL ever series of Money Heist has landed on Netflix
'The world's greatest heist comes to an end'
It's been a massive hit since it first landed on Netflix back in 2017, but today (Friday 3rd December) the world's greatest ever heist comes to an end as series five, volume two of Álex Pina's Money Heist lands on the streaming platform.
The show, also known as La Casa De Papel, is now on the streaming platform with five brand new episodes, following on from series five, volume one which landed in September.
When is Money Heist Part 5: Volume 2 out?
The popular series was split into two parts for the fifth series, with Netflix confirming the release dates for September and December 2021.
Sharing the exciting news on social media alongside a short trailer, Netflix UK and Ireland wrote: 'La Casa de Papel / Money Heist is finally coming back!
Part 5: Volume 1 premiered on Friday 3rd September.

As Volume 2 picks up from Tokyo's death, the brand new trailer shows the world's greatest heist coming to an end, as the Spanish police attempt to put a stop to the robbery at the Bank of Spain.
The gang face their darkest hour and greatest challenge yet as they hatch a bold plan to get the gold out without anyone noticing. To make matters worse, the Professor makes the biggest mistake of his life...
In October, bosses dropped a 40-second long trailer which shows the likes of Denver, Raquel, Palermo and Rio in despair, as The Professor's recognisable voice says: "In the last few hours, I have lost some very important people, and I am not going to let anyone else die for this heist"

Who are the new characters in Money Heist Part 5?
Viewers were introduced to Rafael in Part 5: Volume 1, Berlin's son who is played by Patrick Criado. Rafael is now 31-years-old, has studied computer engineering at MIT in Massachusetts and is incredibly clear about one thing: he doesn't want to be like his father.
Another new character for Part 5 was Tokyo's former flame René. Played by actor Miguel Ángel Silvestre, René was the love of Tokyo's life, the man she started mugging with, with whom she travelled, enjoyed life and the man she loved before Silene Oliveira discovered that sometimes things in her perfect little world can go terribly wrong.
The final new character unveiled in Part 5 was Spanish actor José Manuel Seda, playing the role of Sagasta - Commander of the Special Forces of the Spanish Army.
Sagasta is seasoned in countless international missions against the worst of the human species, which makes him precisely the same as the men he has killed. He is a born leader, whom his men will follow to the end if he asks them to, because he is just like them. When he puts on the uniform, he becomes an analytical, cold and ruthless mind, capable of going beyond any ethical or moral convention if the mission requires it.

Is there a trailer for Money Heist Part 5: Volume 1?
The two-minute long trailer shows the gang prepare for war with the heist still ongoing, with major chaos both inside and outside of the Bank of Spain.
Although the gang managed to rescue Lisbon, things are going to take a turn in series five as Sierra discovers the Professor's hideout and captures him off guard. Following 100 hours inside the Bank of Spain, the end of the heist is approaching, with bosses claiming the 'robbery will turn into a war'.
What is Money Heist?
Although Money Heist was originally intended as a limited series to be told in two parts, the success of the show quickly made Netflix acquire global streaming rights in late 2017, with the Spanish-series going on to become one of the biggest shows on the streaming platform.
Featuring characters like The Professor, Tokyo, Berlin, Rio, Denver, Raquel Murillo and Nairobi, the series sees the preparation and implementation of two long-prepared heists, one on the Royal Mint of Spain, and one on the Bank of Spain.
Without giving away too many spoilers, in case it's on your list to catch up, part four of Money Heist landed on Netflix back in April 2020, with an emotional death of a MAJOR character, leaving fans in tears.
The show followed a similar format during the first instalment of series five, with the gang still stuck inside of the Bank of Spain.
