Who hosts The Masked Singer?

Joel Dommett was back to his hosting duties, and he was very excited about the new series as the live audience is back to spur him on (they didn't have an audience last series because of COVID precautions.

He said before the show: "Having an audience has really changed everything. The energy in the studio has stepped up a notch and having full families in front of you enjoying it in the same way they enjoy it in their lounge is super important. It's made it the best series yet."

However, Joel admitted that he wishes he could go into hiding when the show is on as he can't walk down the street without getting hounded with questions: "Basically, when the show is on television I just hide in my house. It's not worth going out."

Who is on The Masked Singer judging panel?

All of the judging panel, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan have returned to guess who is behind the costumes. There may even be some guest judges as there has been in previous series.

Rita has revealed that she is adamant that she really wants to beat Jonathan this year and has been swatting up on her techniques.

She said: "I tend to try and remind myself of names and things, just to refresh my brain but there is no real way of setting yourself up because it could be anybody. It’s fun going in blind actually.

"I always listen to the voice, Jonathan and Mo are so strong on the comedy side of things, Davina knows everyone! It’s hard for me now because they’re adjusting their accents and their singing voices which is what I always rely on."

Jonathan has revealed that this year is harder than ever, revealing: "I think it’s about the same as it's always been really as it’s always been hard. The problem is you go down a certain track and you begin to convince yourself, because you’ve got no real idea and you’re staring at it and without seeing it and the voices are often disguised, maybe more so this series than previous series. They’ve made it harder for us."

Who has won The Masked Singer?

Nicola Roberts was unmasked as the winner Queen Bee in the first series and series two was won by Sausage - AKA Joss Stone! Sausage kept us all guessing for weeks, and the panel didn't even guess her right at the end.
