Legendary Scottish actor Martin Compston joined our friends over at Clyde 1 this morning (Friday 30th April), to discuss all things Line of Duty as we patiently wait for the series six finale to hit our screens on Sunday!

Martin, who has played the role of DI Steve Arnott since series one, previously said this week the cast and crew haven't yet been told about a seventh series, with the brand new trailer seemingly hinting that Sunday's episode could be the last ever.

With this in mind, fans are hoping to get answers on Sunday night, with the nation on edge to discover who the fourth member of 'H' is.

Joining the show, Martin alluded to the fact a lot of fan theories he has seen online are 'very close' to being correct.

He said: "One of the joys is just reading the mental theories and some are closer than you think! I mean obviously I can't like it or say well done because I cannot give anything away, but some are pretty close."

Of course, there's been a number of fan theories about the show over the last decade, and just this week the Internet has blown up with theories about the final episode.

After the penultimate episode aired last weekend, showing the Guardia Civil pronouncing James Nesbitt's character Marcus Thurwell dead, many viewers think the main detective leading the raid was actually Thurwell himself.

Could this be one of the theories Martin is referring too? πŸ‘€
