What is Love Is Blind: UK?
If you've seen the American version of Love Is Blind, it's basically the exact same concept, but this time it will be filmed in the UK with UK singletons.
If you've not seen the show before, let us explain...
Love Is Blind involves singletons who want to be loved for who they are, and not what they look like. The show has a similar concept to Married At First Sight, as the contestants talk to a number of potential love interests without actually seeing their faces.
Netflix say of the show: 'UK singles who want to be loved for who they are have signed up for a less-conventional approach to modern dating, and will choose someone to marry without ever meeting them.
'Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the Pods. When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with?
Who is hosting Love Is Blind: UK?
On Thursday 24th August 2023, Netflix UK and Ireland confirmed married couple Emma and Matt Willis as hosts for Love Is Blind: UK.
Sharing a promotional video of the pair in the pods, the social media post read: 'Introducing your hosts of Love Is Blind: UK…Welcome to the pods, Emma and Matt Willis!! ❤️ Coming 2024'. (sic)
