Former Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow was one of the rumoured names doing the rounds for this year's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, after standing down from his job in Parliament, but now it looks like that could be off!

John, who has served as Speaker for 10 years, has denied rumours that he was ever in talks with ITV bosses, despite rumours suggesting he asked for a fee of £1 million.

A spokesperson for John has now said, "Any rumours circulating to the effect that Speaker John Bercow is interested in taking part in ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' - at any fee level - are utterly false.

"He's not taking part in any reality shows."

The rumours about John entering the jungle were then escalated even further when Prime Minister Boris Johnson made a joke at the Tory Conference speech.

Boris said, "If Parliament were a reality TV show then the whole lot of us I'm afraid would have been voted out of the jungle by now," Mr Johnson said.

"But at least we would have the consolation of a Speaker being forced to eat a kangaroo testicle."

Check out all of the rumoured I'm A Celebrity stars below:

Alan Halsall

Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall sent fans into meltdown in September, when he hinted at an appearance in the jungle on social media.
Posting a snap of himself on Instagram, Alan wrote, 'It's a jungle out there 🐛😉', leaving fans convinced he's signed up for the 2019 series.

Myles Stephenson

Following his shock split from Love Island star Gabby Allen, ITV bosses are reportedly keen to sign former X Factor winner Myles Stephenson up for the show.
According to reports, Myles is keen to get away and head out to Australia.
Rumours were fueled even further when Myles failed to attend a gig with the Rak-Su boys last week.

Stacey Dooley

Following her successful stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, bookies have made Stacey Dooley one of the favourites to sign up for I'm A Celebrity 2019!

Lucy Fallon

Speaking to the Daily Star last year, Lucy said, "I think I'd be good at the jungle. I like to challenge myself and that's the most challenging show you can do,"

Of course, a number of Lucy's fellow Corrie co-stars are also rumoured, so we will have to wait and see if any of them do sign up.

Katya Jones

Following THAT kiss with comedian Seann Walsh during last year's Strictly Come Dancing, despite being married to fellow professional Neil Jones, Katya is a favourite to appear in the jungle.
She's also just been eliminated from Strictly so could she be heading into the jungle?

Dani Dyer

Following her massive success off the back of last year's Love Island, bosses are reportedly very keen to sign up Dani Dyer for the show.

Danny Dyer

As well as Dani, her dad, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer is also tipped to appear on the show.

Olivia Attwood

Former Love Island star Olivia Attwood has confirmed she's 'in talks' with I'm A Celebrity bosses for the 2019 series!

Rahul Mandal

He stole the hearts of the nation when he won The Great British Bake Off in 2018, so it's no surprise ITV bosses are keen to get Rahul on the show.

Kate Garraway

Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway was apparently due to appear on I'm A Celebrity last year, but she was forced to 'drop out' last minute.

Could we see Kate in the jungle this year?

Georgia Steel

After her conman boyfriend 'stole her money', Love Island's Georgia Steel is keen to appear on the popular show.
Of course, she's no stranger to a reality show, having already starred on Love Island and Celebs Go Dating.

Gemma Collins

It wouldn't be a rumoured TV list without The GC. After appearing on I'm A Celebrity back in 2014, and lasting only a few days, it appears Gemma is ready to go back into the jungle to prove her doubters wrong.

Jacqueline Jossa

Former EastEnders actress Jac Jossa is set to appear on this year's show. Despite rumours suggesting she will be on Celebrity X Factor, the actress has reportedly turned down the show for a place in the jungle.
A source said, "Jacqueline will not be appearing in on Celebrity X Factor. She did have initial meetings about the possibility but it was decided that things wouldn't be taken any further".

Duncan James

Blue singer and former Hollyoaks actor Duncan James has reportedly signed up to the jungle to conquer his phobia of snakes. A source close to the star revealed bosses think he would be 'tv gold' when facing trials and 'is the perfect fit for the jungle'.

Kym Marsh

Another soap star! Former Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has sparked rumours she's going to appear on the show.
Writing in her OK! Magazine column, Kym wrote, 'I'd be terrible! I wouldn't like the bugs or the sleep deprivation and I'd never jump out of a helicopter. My camp mates would probably starve because I'd fail to win any stars! Never say never, but I don't want to do any reality shows so soon after leaving the Street later this year.'

Richard Madeley

After he reportedly turned down a role on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, bookies have slashed the odds for Richard Madeley to appear in the jungle this year!

James Lock

TOWIE star James Lock has seemingly put himself forward for this year's series. He told OK! Magazine, "I'm A Celebrity is something I've always wanted to do and I think I would boss it in there."

Nadine Coyle

Former Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has reportedly been 'confirmed' to appear on the show. Reports suggest bosses want her to 'spill secrets' about her apparent feud with Cheryl.

Ian Wright

2018 winner Harry Redknapp reportedly ''let slip' his friend Ian Wright has signed up for the 2019 series for a fee of £1 million.
After going to see Harry on tour, a fan tweeted, 'Just got home from seeing @Redknapp in Nottingham. Interestingly, he let slip that Ian Wright has been paid £1m to appear on this year's #ImACeleb.' sic

Andrew Whyment

Another day, another Corrie rumour! As well as the likes of Alan Halsall, Lucy Fallon and Kym Marsh, Coronation Street favourite Andrew Whyment has also reportedly 'signed up' for the 2019 series.

Caitlyn Jenner

According to reports, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Caitlyn Jenner has signed a huge deal to join the show and is set to receive an eye-watering £500,000 fee, which would be one of the biggest if rumours are true.

Roman Kemp

TV personality and son of former EastEnder's actor Martin Kemp has reportedly signed up for the show, despite some old tweets resurfacing.

Adele Roberts

Big Brother 2002 star Adele Roberts is set to make her comeback to reality TV, reportedly signing up for the 2019 series of I'm A Celebrity.

Meanwhile, after Ant and Dec teased they know the line-up last month, ITV delighted fans earlier this week by confirming the official start date for the 2019 series.

The news was revealed on social media, with ITV writing, 'DRUM ROLL PLEASE… 🥁 @imacelebrity Returns Sunday 17th November 9pm @itv @antanddec We’ll see you in the Jungle! 🎉🐍🐛🐜 #ImACeleb'. sic
