This Sunday I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here returns to ITV with Geordie duo Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly and we couldn't be more excited!

With soap stars, sportsmen, YouTubers and erm, Boris Johnson's dad, we can't wait for the new series to begin.

If you’re as nosy as us, you’ll be wondering how much those celebrities get paid to lay around in a jungle camp full of leeches eating various parts of animals for three weeks.

We’ll tell you!

The pay packet of the contestants ranges from around £25,000 for the lesser known celebs to £250,000 for the big names, reports a national newspaper.

The bigger names include Amir Khan and Stanley Johnson (Boris Johnson’s dad), while the smaller celebs include Jack Maynard.

A source told the national newspaper, "There's a very wide range of payments on the show, and every year some of the top names bag themselves around £250,000.

"This year Amir and Stanley are probably the biggest names, along with Jennie off Coronation Street. But the pay scale slides all the way down to about a tenth of that.

"The least known stars tend to get somewhere around the £25,000 mark."

The salaries of the stars haven’t been officially announced by the I’m A Celebrity bosses, but if these are the sort of figures contestants rake in we’re very, very jealous!

And we’d take much less than £25,000 tbh.
