Last updated 22nd Apr 2024
After applications for series seven closed last May, fans of Channel 4 reality show Hunted were thrilled when the series returned on Sunday 17th March, with the final episode airing on Sunday 21st April.
As we await any information about any further series, here's your ultimate recap of series seven, which aired in 2024.
What is Hunted?
First airing back in 2015, Hunted features a number of ordinary people attempting to go on the 'run' for 21 days, trying to outrun an elite team of Hunters in the process.
The team of Hunters over the years has consisted of both former and serving police officers, as well as intelligence personal who have access to things such as call tracking, ANPR and CCTV in an attempt to find the fugitives.
Series seven saw Assistant Chief Constable of Cleveland Police, Lisa Theaker, leading the investigation from Hunted HQ, with a handpicked team of top police and military personnel. Series seven will also see the Hunters have access to GPS positioning, drones, tracker dogs, mobile phone monitoring, publicity campaigns and, for the first time, motorbikes.
So far the show has had seven series. There's also been a number of celebrity editions of the show for Stand Up To Cancer, with the likes of Ollie Locke, AJ Pritchard and Kay Burley all taking part.
