Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 12 – Friday 16 August 2019
The Maalik family are planning on having an Eid party at their home but Jonny and Stuart plan on scaring them into not having their family.
The party is in full swing and when Leah and Lucas hear the fun they sneak out of Ste's house and ask if they can join the party.
When Ste discovers his kids are at the Maaliks party, he crashes the party and drags them both away. Stuart and Jonny decide to stay and intimidate the Maalik family.
An embarrassed Leah tells Ste she wishes Sami was her dad and Jonny and Stuart use it as an opportunity to convince Ste of their plan to scare Sami.
Later in the night, while Sami is walking in the street he gets pepper sprayed by a hooded mystery figure…
The next day a police officer arrives at Jonny and Ste's house and demand to know where they were when Sami was attacked.
Luckily, Sami doesn't have any permanent damage. That doesn't stop Ste from confronting Stuart about the attack but he ends up flipping the blame onto the dad-of-two – telling him he's the one who made the order.
Jonny and Stuart set Ste up on another date with Jed. Later on in the week, Ste confesses that he needs to tell Jonny something about Jed.
Over to the McQueen family and Breda is planning a big night in The Hutch on Friday. She tells Goldie McQueen that she's throwing her a party to cheer her up but she's actually planning to marry Jack…
Breda then asks Joel Dexter if he could lead them in some prayers after the wedding but things are awkward because Goldie is giving him the cold shoulder.
Joel tries to make things right with Goldie and agrees to do some yoga with her. They begin to mess around but Goldie is left rejected when he tells her he can't succumb to temptation. She then kicks him out.
Later on in the week she flirts with a fit guy in the village and then ends up burning all the clothes from her ex-boyfriends.
After spotting how upset Goldie is, Cleo McQueen steps in and tells the priest that he must decide what he wants because it's hurting Goldie.
On the day of Jack and Breda's secret wedding she's preoccupied with something else… she then tells Joel in the confession box that someone in her family has sinned.
Joel assumes Breda knows about him and Goldie but she rushes off to Mercedes and questions her about what she heard.
When Sylver McQueen spots Jack carrying his kilt, it dawns on him that his mum is getting married. Jack then tells Darren Osborne and Mandy Richardson about his big day.
Breda is hysterical when she walks in on Goldie and Joel together in bed. She then storms off to The Dog and tells Jack and Sylver that the "meal" – aka their wedding – is off.
She then rushes off to the toilet and hides in there. A devastated Jack tries to persuade her to come out – but will she? And will they get married?
Cindy Cunningham goes out for a drink with Mercedes and tells her she's jealous of her incredible hubby Sylver…
Mercedes isn't sure about her "perfect" marriage and decides to spend some time with Liam while Sylver and Bobby are away.
Nana McQueen spots Liam's leopard print boxers on the floor but she's stunned when she hears Mercy and Liam in the bedroom together…
Mercedes manages to think of the spot and tell Nana that the underwear she saw on the floor was a gift for Sylver.
Sylver and Bobby return from their trip to Blackpool and later on Breda overhears Mercy on the phone to Liam admitting to an affair…
Before any of that drama happens, here's what's in store for the Hollyoaks residents this week…
Sinead O'Connor decides to take her mind off her abusive husband Laurie Shelby's upcoming trial and heads to a festival.
While there she gets drunk and ends up kissing Sami Maalik – but when things go wrong she ends up storming off and hitch hiking a ride home…
Elsewhere Brooke Hathaway, Ollie Morgan, Juliet Quinn and Imran Maalik also head to the festival. Things get off to a great start but then Juliet decides to steal Brooke's purse.
Brooke goes looking for her purse in the DJ tent but ends up having a sensory overload and falls to the floor screaming for help…
Also Scott Drinkwell tries to cheer up Mitchell Deveraux, Prince McQueen makes a huge decision but his mum is not impressed and Joel Dexter opens up to Goldie McQueen.
