We all remember the infamous Starbucks cup - and it turns out that wasn’t the last Game of Thrones blunder which viewers have noticed. Perceptive viewers spotted that promo shots for the fifth episode, titled The Bells, showed an enormous gaffe which saw Jaime Lannister’s (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) right hand magically reappear. Yes, that’s even though it was cut off in season three.

It appears to have been edited out of the UK episode - but that hasn’t stopped the image being widely circulated on Twitter. One fan wrote, ‘Jaime Lannister was so out of character his right hand grew back,’ while another viewer was less than impressed and said, ‘Last week, we had the #starbuckscup, this week we got hand regeneration. #GameOfThrones really made us all wait 2 years for subpar writing and this.’ sic

It comes after Emilia Clarke hinted that she was responsible for the coffee cup in episode four. On Thursday morning, Emilia cheekily nodded to the editing mistake by sharing a pic of herself holding a cup while on set with co-stars Peter Dinklage and Jason Momoa.

She wrote on Instagram, 'Did I just stumble upon the truth here?! The cup bearer does not drinketh the Starbucks tea...' Sophie Turner has also since blamed Emilia, saying on The Jimmy Fallon Show, ‘Well… look who is right by the cup… obviously it was Emilia. She’s the culprit!’

Jaime's hand wasn't the only shocking part of the episode - but we won't spoil it for you if you haven't yet seen it. Head to our Game Of Thrones season 8 recap to read up on our thoughts if you've seen it.
