Things are looking up for Marlon who's finally been cleared and released from prison. But when April gets a text from the school bullies calling her dad a 'murderer', Marlon is crestfallen.
Later when Marlon learns that it was actually Charity and Ryan who stole Kim's money, he resolves to expose the truth.
At the Woolpack, Marlon announces the truth about Kim's money and the Dingles glare at Charity and Ryan for withholding evidence that could have seen Marlon released much earlier.
But that's not all – when he learns that Kim actually hired someone to kill Graham, Marlon is staggered by the betrayal and declares that he's done with the Dingles.
Marlon's distrusts has hit boiling point and an explosive row ensues, with Marlon demanding Mandy pack her bags and move out.
Elsewhere, Cara is getting to know Tracy, but Tracy is hurt when Cara makes a dig at her and Nate suggests she's judging his new girlfriend in the same way Cain's family once judged her.
After some home truths delivered by Cain, Cara wants to build bridges with her son and invites him to come and live with her away from Emmerdale. What will Nate do?
Though their relationship is steadily improving, Victoria is caught off guard when Wendy refers to herself as Harry's nana.
Victoria allows Wendy to babysit unsupervised so she and Luke can spend some time together, but as they get intimate Victoria is reminded of Lee and pulls back.
Meanwhile, Wendy is enjoying a romance of her own as she grows closer to Bear. Unbeknownst to her, Bob is also interested in her and Chas is amused to see he's jealous of Bear.
At Butler's, Cain tries to give nothing away when the police arrive with new forensic evidence about the gun that shot Nate.
Embarrassed, Moira admits that they buried the gun atop Butler's field. Cain needs to clear this mess up but he's unaware DI Malone is sat in a car watching them.
Later on, Will tries to remain calm when the police arrive to question him about the gun after he admits that it belonged to the criminal gang he used to be a part of.
As things between Will and DI Malone turn sinister, all becomes clear as to why Will has been fearing the corrupt Detective Inspector...
Now let's remind ourselves of what's happening this week.
Rhona Goskirk is in for an earth shattering realisation when she realises the full extent of her ex husband's sordid plans.
Convinced that Pierce Harris is responsible for Graham Foster's death, Rhona's world unravels even more when she learns that he's been keeping Vanessa Woodfield hostage.
When Pierce demands she pack a bag and leave Emmerdale with him in order to save Vanessa, what will she do? And is he being honest?
Meanwhile, Kim Tate is angry when Al Chapman admits it wasn't really him who killed Graham - but she's also relieved that her name won't be tied to the crime. When she learns of Rhona's suspicions, she's determined to get to the bottom of it.
Elsewhere, Mandy Dingle is disappointed that their campaign to clear Marlon's name hasn't gained more traction, and Marlon loses hope behind bars.
