Emmerdale fans left in tears at emotional scene between Debbie and her daughter

If you're a fan of soaps you can expect to be put through a series of emotions during every episode and that's exactly what happened to Emmerdale fans last night.

Some fans of the popular ITV soap were left in tears during the very emotional scene between Debbie Dingle and her daughter Sarah Sugden.

It's been a tough few weeks for Debbie since her return to the village, not only did her children get kidnapped, but she also discovered her daughter's cancer has returned.

So when Faith Dingle helped out coming up with £20,000 for treatment, Debbie was convinced she wanted to take her daughter to Prague for specialist treatment.

But as viewers at home know, Debbie is wanted by police. Despite going to the airport with a fake passport, the Dingle family were able to persuade the mum to not go through with her risky plans.

This led to a heartbreaking scene where Debbie was forced to say goodbye to her sick daughter and told Cain, “I’m the worst mum".

Clearly affected by the scene, fans of the show took to Twitter to express their emotions and praise actress Charley Webb for her acting skills.

The storyline of Sarah's cancer treatment is expected to continue in the upcoming weeks.
