Viewers have been comparing ice skating talent show Dancing On Ice with the Winter Olympics, and the outcome is pretty hilarious.
When celebrities signed up for Dancing On Ice last year they probably didn't expect to be compared to world class Olympians, however that's exactly what has happened recently.
With the start of the Winter Olympics on Friday, fans of winter sports have been glued to the TV screens, watching the likes of Red Gerard, the 17-year-old American who took gold in men's slopestyle, making him the first Winter Olympic champion to be born this millennium.
However, when it came to ice-skating viewers have had a double dosing of it, with Dancing on Ice AND the Winter Olympics, and of course they couldn't help but compare the two.
One viewer tweeted, 'Watching figure skating at the Winter Olympics. Can't help but feel that Dancing on Ice is going to be a bit of a let down in comparison! #skating #WinterOlympics'.
Whilst another said, 'Blimey! @dancingonice is different tonight!!! @ITV #Olympics #WinterOlympics2018'.
One fan joked they thought the Winter Olympics had gone down hill saying, 'For a moment I thought the Winter Olympics was going downhill (and I don’t mean skiiing). Then realised it was Dancing on Ice on ITV.' sic
One more viewer pointed out, 'My daughter has just said the skaters on dancing on ice can't be that good .....because they would be at the winter Olympics'.
A further viewer said, '#DancingOnIce is definitely not as impressive after watching #WinterOlympics2018 figure skating ⛸'..
Two weeks ago two members of the Winter Olympics Team GB showed off their skills on Dancing On Ice. Nick Buckland and Penny Coomes performed their world class routines for the show's audience, including judges and Olympic Champions, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Meanwhile in other Dancing On Ice news yesterday (Sunday 11th February) we said "goodbye" to Lemar after he had a skate off against Donna Air. Despite trying his best Lemar has been in the bottom two four times during the series and this time the judges scored him just 20 out of 40.
If Lemar's exit wasn't enough to deal with hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby revealed that in next week’s show there will be a double elimination. Next week viewers will also be treated to a special performance from pop star Camila Cabello.
The exciting news was announced on Twitter at the beginning of the month, with the official Dancing On Ice account tweeting, '#DancingOnIce is going to Havana ooh na-na 🎵 @Camila_Cabello will be performing on the ice in two weeks! 👏'.
They later confirmed the singer will be performing on the 18th February.
Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday evenings on ITV.
