Cinderella
This recent interpretation of the classic story stars Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother and Lily James as Ella. Brought up in a loving family Ella’s mum sadly dies and her dad remarries. While her dad is away on business Ella’s step-mum's true colours show and Ella’s life is made even harder when her dad also dies.
With a memorable soundtrack and multiple award nominations, this film is bound to have everyone entertained.
The Little Prince
The Little Prince is an animated adaption of the childhood favourite. Following a busy little girl who meets an eccentric aviator, the film beautifully brings to life the original drawings by the author. Whether you are a fan of the book or new to the story adults and kids will love The Little Prince.
Fantastic Mr Fox
Fantastic Mr Fox is another fantastic animated adaptation, this time originally written by Roald Dahl. The film follows a cunning fox who steals food each night from some men who aren’t too happy. Fed up with the fox’s antics they try to kill him, but of course the fox and his friends have one up on the farmers.
George Clooney, Meryl Streep and Bill Murray lend their voices to some of the characters in this fantastic film.
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
Based on the books of the same name by Lemony Snicket this popular series stars Neil Patrick Harris and Patrick Warburton. The first series of this black-comedy drama was only released earlier this year, but it has already had two more seasons commissioned.
Julie Greenroom
This brand new Netflix Original series was released last month (March). Starring Julie Andrews, known for her parts in The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins, this series is created by puppeteer master Jim Henson and includes guest stars such as Alec Baldwin, Sara Bareilles and Joshua Bell.
