WATCH: Soul singer John Legend joins Kygo on stage to sing a Marvin Gaye classic

Who knew that house and soul music would sound so good together?

Norwegian DJ Kygo surprised concert goers in Los Angeles when he brought out soul singer John Legend on stage.

The tropical house DJ, known for his 2014 top ten hit 'Firestone' and this year's 'Here For You' featuring Ella Henderson was performing at the Greek Theater in LA, a venue with a capacity of 5,870.

Part way through his set Kygo welcomed John Legend on stage to a roaring crowd as he sang "let's get down tonight...".

John then proceeded to sing the Marvin Gaye classic, 'Sexual Healing', with Kygo's distinctive tropical vibe and John's soothing voice it was like a match made in heaven.

The pair clearly enjoyed performing together as after the event they both took to social media to express their feelings with Kygo saying "Such an honor sharing the stage with this guy yesterday!".
