Coldplay dropped their latest single 'Miracles (Someone Special)' last Friday and just a day later they dropped this emotional lyric video.
The video pays tribute to the US immigrants who arrived in the country in the 19th and 20th centuries. Celebrating America’s long history of welcoming immigrants from across the world, the video features on old photos on the wall and in an album that come to life.
Capturing the moment families arrived at Ellis Island, the gateway to the USA, the video is an emotional journey following those wanting to start a new life in the USA.
'Miracles (Someone Special)' which features Canadian rapper Big Sean, is included on Coldplay's long awaited EP 'Kaleidoscope', which was first announced last year.
'Kaleidoscope' also includes a track called 'A L I E N S' co-written by Brian Eno. All proceeds from this song will be donated to an international NGO which rescues migrants called Migrant Offshore Aid Station.
At the moment Coldplay are midway through their seventh tour called 'A Head Full of Dreams Tour' which they started last year. Having performed across the UK and in Paris the band will now travel to the USA for the next leg of their tour. Here are 20 facts you probably never knew about Coldplay.
